I've applied to a couple firms, and they seem to like my online portfolio, thus desiring an interview.
Even though they've already looked at my work on my online portfolio, for these interviews, should I still bring a physical portfolio?

Absolutly. Over prepare. You'll feel like a tool when they ask for it... and you have none.

Yeah I figured as much.
Heh, just me being a lazy bum.

if you have one take it. if not don't worry about it.

if they ask to see your portfilio get all defensive and pissy and say "you saw it online already. what? are saying you don't believe that's my work?" Then stand up, arms straight out and say "Step. Step, son. Step"

Definately bring it. It's one thing to see someones website, and another to have them present their work to you. Get excited about, talk about personal details in different projects like problems you had to overcome, and your process.

What if all your work consists of websites/online-content?
Has anyone ever taken a laptop to a job interview and shown websites running locally from the laptop HD?
Or do you take printed screen-shots?

something printed looks so nice
