eBay thievery

I bought this thing on eBay this weekend (with the "buy now" feature) from a Dutch guy. Seemed alright, had 100 or so positive feedbacks, one negative.
Emailed him a few times, everythign cool. He wanted a bank transfer even though I suggested paypal. I told him friday morning that the money's been sent and I still haven't heard from him. It's monday night.
Isn't that strange? Am I being a drama queen? Is it too much to ask for a "okay, I'll let you know when the money arrives so I can send you the stuff". No biggie, just 250 eur, but still.
I've been fucked, right? Goddam. Can't trust any of them thieving Nederlanders. If he collects and run - too bad for him he picked a bank transfer. That makes it so much easier to trace.

Paypal is a fucking million times worse. At least with a bank, they're going to have records of who accessed it and when and shit. Paypal, it's just whoever can crack the account.

So maybe I'm not fucked then - maybe he's just out of town? I mean, if I was to screw somebody, i would do it for much more money and in a way that wasn't so easy to track.

international banktransfers can take upto 5 days and they are idle in the weekend

bank transfer is 100 times better than Paypal... fuck Paypal ! i hate it
if you decide you wanna withdraw the transfer, just call up the bank and they will cancel it, the bank likes you because you give them money, Paypal hates you because most of the shit they do is free
