i went through some interesting episodes of dating through online agencies. I went through a slurry of overseas students and one memorable sexy slap-yourself-if-she-ain't-a-por... girl who oddly enough couldn't hold her drink and had me carrying her back to her place but i was a bit dubious at the idea of waking up the next morning in a bathtub of ice with some vital organs missing so I didn't go in with her.
I sometimes fantasise about what could have happened, but all my friends said I did the right thing, including the guys.
I did however get in contact with a lovely girl in Japan who came over to London where fireworks went off on our first day together. We got married last February.

For me, I wouldn't exactly call it 'online dating'. Chase first wrote to me to tell me he liked my work. I liked his letter so much I wrote him back. We became penpals, basically, for the next couple of months, nothing romantic... and then he tells me he's taking a roadtrip with some friends to NY & he'd like to meet me for some iceskating. At Rockefellar, it was practically love at first site.
We've been together for over a year & a half now. I have never in my life been as happy as I am now. He is the best & coolest person in the universe. We're getting married at the end of next year. It's flippin' awesome.

my ex coworker went on Lava life and met his current wife. Her parents are loaded, both doctors and her siblings are all professionals too. They have a huge house near Banff.

its interesting as soon as u get over the dreadful, i met someone via internet...

it's funny how it is. in the city full of young people, plenty of places to meet. yet so many people go online. i've heard from some of my friends that her friends go on dating with different guys every week online. also, i've read an article that even nice guys are becoming like players.
