It's like Falwell and 9/11, blaming America's "sinful nature" for that crisis is just arrogant and evil.

don't forget about Oral Roberts, he has his own University. Actually a good school, but he went crazy didn't he in a Bell Tower or some stuff?

*hands mr.dob a toothpick
anyone who knows anything about the bible should get that ...
- Mimio0
Toothpicks are mentioned in the Bible?

and just in case:
"Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' and behold, the log is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye."
Matthew 7:1-5
I am not discipler so I wont go into a long million response thing..... but dude...... people make mistakes.....he apologized...... and let me ask you .....what were you ....like 4 or something when he said that.......
Everyone will have a million reasons for not coming to god..... whats your relationship with God..... forget the people.......the politics.....the agenda......
This is not fire and brimstone...... this is...... When you die.....there will only be 2 there......you and God....... what will he say to you?
Billy G... I am volunteering there the whole weekend. Do I agree with everything he says.... CAPITAL N-O!!..... and thats fine..... what you people take as gospel because one person says it is wrong.....you stereotype almost every publicized christian....
We are human we make mistakes......God asks you to follow him not Billy G, Joel Osteen or Oral Roberts in a clock tower saying that God will kill him.
Just remember the question.....What will he say to you?
Don't ask me questions....don't even respond.... please..... this is not an argument....and I dont want to incite one....and not responding to any comments after this will be very very hard.....but just ponder the question to yourself... arguing with me wont matter... remember only 2 will be there.....
have a great and blessed weekend.....

Billy Graham Apologized - we are all human and flawed.

Still doesn't make any sense liquid. Your symbolism has failed. You're calling Mr.D a hypocrite, but in your gloriously succinct illustration you're the one handing him the toothpick(timber)? Wtf?
- liquid0
Mimio .....The toothpick is my speck
- Mimio0
uh huh.
- liquid0
or log as it were....
- mrdobolina0
I apologize for hating jews. I dont know what I was thinking...
liquid, don't hold me to the standard of your bible. That is your religion.
- Mimio0
Yes, but his religion is to tell you what your religion is too.

I know there's no "credentials" to this, but I just like to mention that I was flipping the channels, and one of the channels, I can't remember which, there was a pool, "greatest 25 Americans" and actually I think the final is next week. Anyway, Billy Graham is part of the 25. They did mention that although he preaches to millions of people, he still makes the salary of a small church pastor.

Sorry, try this
- planet010
mrdobolina,
yes - it's his religion. he believes, has experienced it as true. if you find something as true, don't you like to share it?
i know it's not cool to have an absolute belief about anything these days. it's irritating to non-christians to be confronted with something that is so dividing. but, what if it is true?
- mrdobolina0
what if we are all living on the back of a gigantic turtle, like some indian religions say.

Apologizing is easy. It rarely costs anything.
You need to take these 'public apologies' with a healthy dose of skepticism IMO.
And an individual does not need God to live a good life and perform good works.
