what computer habits do you have?
i constantly empty my internet history and empty the cache.
i also like to use labels [on mac] to let me know the status of my projects.
i'm just curious as to how everyone works. when you can see someone's physical desk you get clues as to their thought process.
how does this compare with the way we work on digital desktops?

i put everything on desktop.
when desk top fills up, i make a folder called desktop
and repeat.
i have about few hunred desktop folders.
i put them folders in a folder called, desktop archive. which also sits on the desk top

my coworker's desktop wallpaper is a graphic of color coded rectangles... he positions folders and icons within these rectangles according to priority

i clear cookies, history and temp all the time too.. and tjeck my mail every minute ^_^

i have only 'source' on my desktop, plus two folders.
one called 'bits and bobs' which is miscellaneous stuff.
the other is for day job.
oh, then, if i plug in external drives like ipod or a server that shows up too.

that pic is from my boyfriend's spring break. early april.
i got the 23 inch display about a month ago, and i loves it. i got no clue what i am going to do with that one though. we might just hook it up to an updated cube we have.

i often remove the keyboard from my laptop, not just to clean it up but to find odd objects i forgot to consume.
the other day, i found a piece of brownie and ramen noodle partying there.

I must have a clea desktop at all times. Sometimes it gets a little jumbled, and I flip if there is more files other than the HD and the external hd. I also clear cahes, cookies, and history too.
