i am kind of thinking of getting one of those palm treos.
it's a phone, palm, camera, and mp3 player all in one.
anyone have one? what do you think of it? is it worth the extra in monthly payments to have the data stuff ie. email?

I have a friend who has one. He uses it non-stop and there seems to be an 'addiction' factor.
Personally I don't want to be that 'connected', but the thing is useful.

uh oh
addiction factor bad.i just realized you have to get a special plan for it, which pretty much doubles my monthly cell phone bill.
the more i think about it, the more ihate it.
i would like a combo camera / mp3 player though.
a good one.

I just got one like 2 days ago.
It rocks, I love it.
If you're not going to use it to it's fullest though- don't get it. It's not worth it unless you need/want all of the features.
But- that being said, I love it.
Yes the camera sucks, (it's 640 x 480) but all cell phone cameras suck. It's on par/better then most.If you need your email on the go, keep a lot of appointment, write post it notes all over the place, use IM a lot, etc- then definately get it cause it's great for consolidation.
