What a lame ass list for the best albums of the past twenty years. I hate pansy waisted, limp dicked music critics.
BEST ALBUMS 1985-2005
1 Radiohead - OK Computer
2 Public Enemy - It Takes A Nation of Millions To Hold Us Back
3 Nirvana - Nevermind
4 Pavement - Slanted And Enchanted
5 The Smiths - The Queen Is Dead
6 Pixies - Surfer Rosa
7 De La Soul - 3 Feet High And Rising
8 Prince - Sign O' The Times
9 PJ Harvey - Rid Of Me
10 NWA - Straight Outta ComptonHow can you have The Smiths and NWA on the same list? I think they only stuck NWA on there because they wanted some urban street cred. What wankers...

Where is Guns N Roses 'Apetite for Destruction' - easily the best hard rock album ever made...I mean that and Nevermind defined what guitar rock was for at least 15 years...
I mean how does Pavement get on that list and Not GNR?
- version30
NWA changed the music game altogether getting things out there it was a huge accomplishment

I agree NWA should be on the list as well as Public Enemy's joint..but it just seems like pandering coming from Spin...

crap! where's The Mars Volta? or The Pillows?
that list blows!

Where's Huey Lewis and the News!?!?
- ********0
Hell..wait I think Huey Lewis peaked before '85. Or else I'd demand that Men At Work be on that list as well..
- mrdobolina0
#1 is radiohead? c'mon.
those lists always pander to whatever is popular at the moment.

i fully agree that appetite should be on the list, but slanted and enchanted should be there as well. it defined the now hackneyed genre of indie rock....and it still rips.
