So I'm working on this DVD, wich has some explicit material, (motorcycle stunts, cursing,et) and the producer told me to put a Rated PG logo on the box.
But nobody rated the movie but himself, can this be a problem?
I know some DVDs have the "Not Rated" logo on it. I'm thinking this is a better approach than rating the dvd himself.
I'm not sure how this work, so I wanted to know if anyone had any similar experiences with this.
And if I had to, where can I find the "Not Rated" logo?
Thanks in advance

Uh, I think it's a 'not rated' logo, because otherwise it has to be done all officially. I'm just wondering if the 'not rated' part is also official. Anyway, I'm not sure.

depending on where its produced, i thought all dvd in distribution gets reviewed..
or do u request that.
- Meeklo0
well, this is not a large distribution dvd, there is only 1000 copies being made.
I think we need to request it.
I saw many times the
[NOT RATED] logo, and its usually the same one.

why dont u put nothing in there?
- Jaline0
Well, people may want to know what it contains, not that it'll be all that accurate anyway...

I was thinking maybe I can use the PARENTAL ADVISORY Exp content
on the front, would this help?If we don't put anything on it, some parent will complain I'm sure I used to work on a skate magazine, and the complain for the most ridicoulus stuff that you never think they will complain for...

Yup, someone always complains. I guess it's better safe than sorry.
