i'm working on an html email template for a client...
i've managed to get this xhtml/css email to work in all clients, even hotmail, but gmail won't display any styles.
anyone have any experience in getting css to work in html emails in gmail.

sorry for hijacking your thread, i just have to vent. i also design html email templates but web email services like hotmail, yahoo mail, gmail, etc are all blocked by my company. i don't know what they look like in those webmail services. i have to hope for the best that they will come out right. i've complained about this but nothing has been done. i think that is ridiculous.
i've checked some of my work on gmail when i got home. and in my experience, gmail behaves very differently from hotmail and yahoo. use more images if you can but never image maps.
