Share apps in OSX?

New to OSX...
...how do let another user with a normal account share an application that I installed on my account?
Do I just change the permissions on the app folder or do I have to do all the /Library/Application Support folers etc?

it's shared if it is in the Application folder, unless you made very limit permissions on the account

yes. make sure the programs are in the System App folder, and not the User App folder.
Then you shouldn't have to change premisiions
