i'm guessing they licensed the design and php backend off wwft.

well the work from 3deep is top notch!
- tommyb0
Yeah, nobody cares because it's not a design worth ripping off. It's just there, like furniture

3 deep are top designers indeed, just suprising that they made it a little obvious

i dunno guys— i mean, 3 columns, all caps etc, really, it's a site that holds lots of info - lots of sites start looking alike in structure to me.
- fresnobob0
Uhhh... If thats a rip, then both of them are ripping the guy who invented the grid...
- forcetwelve0
call fresnobob. there's rips, then there's just basic design principals to me.
- bk_shankz0
Its just a basic layout made of rectangles both of them.

Are all newspapers ripping each other? No there following established conventions that evolve over time. Same with web design.
- imakedesign0
why bring this up? what with everyone trying to find rips recently
- mchell0
This is a rip off for sure.

I have to admit, 3 Deep's publishing website is quite similar to Your Work For Them. But I wouldn't say it is a rip because to be a rip, the colors and content have to be near or close to 100% uniquely the same. I would say it is inspired but I find it hard that 3 Deep would go to all the trouble to design a website similar to YWFT. 3 Deep however, are a well established group .

maybe they work for them
