ok, i've got an interview on friday, the girl i am interviewing with has stressed over the phone and in emails how casual the company is, and to dress casual. and when i mean stressed, she mentions it every time. "it's going to be a casual interview this is a casual place, so dress casually" so how casual should iget here? button down, jeans, sneaks, tshirt, slacks???

fresh polo shirt, jeans, nice shoes, no sneaks

yeap
when you go in there, act like you are already there. just relax. and talk like you already work there

jeans, nice black slip-on shoes. and a long-sleeve fitted button-down shirt not tucked in. kind of how you might go out to a club.
but if you walk in and it's uber-casual, slip into the restroom and roll your sleeves up just below your elbows.

i feel like that's too overdressed, don't you?

stevejobs got it right - smart casual, act like you care about what you look like - be comfortable. Shoes are the key to looking smart and creative.

theres nothing like a bare chested interview(ee), yessir

who/where is it? design firm or ad agency, or in-house?
I got my current job wearing jeans, nike wovens, and a short-sleeve button-up.
I always feel, it's best to let being myself act as a filter. That way I know that I'll have a better chance of being comfortable if I get the job.
:-)
good luck.

Button down, tuck it in with belt, good shoes and nice slacks. Just because she said it was casual doesn't mean you look like abum. It's just not super dressy.

well, i look like a retard with my shirt tucked in.

a few smartly placed post-it's and a nice pair of shoes.
you're in!

tuck in the polo and wear a buckle that says "cash money"

definitely rock the Gravis then.

Nice! Definately dress casual, and be very relaxed / comfortable. How you come across in person is MUCH more important than what you wear.

bananna hammock and flipflops
perhaps a black bananna hammock, cause black is classy
