I tried signing up and it's for US residents, so you have to have a state. That annoys me. Anyway, I guess I'll just make something up.
I'm just testing it out, because I already have MySpace, LJ, and my own site.

Okay, it's really weird. It keep inputting -5 for my birthdate, and therefore there are errors and it's not letting me sign-up. How very inconvenient.

Ok, I figured out what's happening. There's something wrong with the form information on the site. The code is messed up. Everything is moved down one row. So my country is actually my state, my birthdate is actually the time zone, which explains the -5.
Nice.

i signed up for it a while ago, i guess they have made alot of changes since then.
i guess for the worse.

Okay, I managed to sign up by trying various methods. It's pretty cool, but pretty much at the same level of LiveJournal. LJ is probably better though, which usericon options, tags, etc. I think BlogPod will get better with time. The layout is really nice.
