I am well into it when Goran won it that year I was in tears I also am interested to see if the wee lad form Dunblane is there this year as I grew up in Dunblane for a while and I am living near the town at the moment so it would be nice to watch him.

it's so much better than the US and French Open imo

nothing like it when you walk to your seat on centre court... everything is so GREEN!

I heard on the radio this morning on how the judges want to do something about the grunting that goes on during the womens matches. They think coaches are telling them to play it up to throw off their oppenents.

Absolutely. Watching the big booming serve&volleyers is way fun. Plus, Wimbeldon [or as people in the Midwest call it, idiotically, Winbelton] is steeped in history and tradition. A nice throwback, if ya asked me.
ATP events on grass are *almost the most fun - I still like hard-courts as an equilizer for the scrappy baseliners and allcourt players.

true... the grunting means the other player can't tell the pace that is put on the ball as they can't hear the 'twang'

"Wimbledon, England (Sports Network) - For the third time in seven years the mighty Williams sisters -- sixth-seeded Serena and seventh-seeded Venus -- will square off in an all-sister, all-American final on the Wimbledon grass.
The powerful sisters battled in finals here in 2002 and 2003, with Serena winning both matchups."
