PSP worth it?

Hey Rick...did you convert the Simpsons episodes yourself?
I dig my PSP...my wife bought it for me, to share with the kids. They've used it perhaps six times in two months! I take it to work, kids practice and outside in the hammock. Well worth the $$$. Even if I had payed for it myself!

that program is the shit. I have read about this pspcasting thing kids are doing now, like podcasting but with bittorrent. imagine your psp automatically getting the new simpsons episode wirelessly beamed to it. really cool stuff and all free.

Yeah...Rick. There are some real fun things being done on the PSP. I use PSPWare for Mac, and I have ripped "This is Spinal Tap" and "Yojimbo" but I still need a bigger card.

yep, I got wipeout and hacked the browser to fujimax. its kinda slow but cool.

The PSP is totally worth it. Nobody has mentioned the feature whereyou can read Magazines, comics and even books through the picture Viewer.
My brother and I both own one, and we play Ridge Racer head 2 head all the time. Plus, now with the NES hack, the number of games you can play on your PSP has gone from tens to thousands.
(I know there is an SNES, Sega Genisis and so forht, but they are buggy and slow and don't have sound...yet.)

I was messing around this morning with the psp before work and I downloaded game emulators for mame, nes, snes, sega genesis, sega master system and a version of doom 1.
the psp is totally worth it.

I've been playing Chrono trigger every time I have to go to the bathroom. I love that game!

i gots to get me one of those - it just came out, and the point is, is that you never know a consoles full potential until at least 2 years after its release - we've yet to see the PSPs full capabilities.

fate how does it run on the psp? is there sound? also, what dimensions do snes games run on the wide screen - do they stretch or are they set to their original aspect ratio?

(Jun 28 05, 11:45)I could hand you the instructions on how to do it. dude, it's sick, my one friend already did it. he basically imports whatever he wants from his computer into the X-box. SICK! Emulators for every game known to man, runs DVDs, .mp3's etc.
