i hope Apple agrees to it so that apple will increase their market share but dilute their upscale computer position for their brand and thus have to compete with PC hardware, thus making mac's affordable for everyone.

Right, imagine this combined with mac switching to the Intel chip - could be the end to Mac as we know...in my oppinion I think it's good for Apple.

at that point apple would exist as an os and an mp3 player, except for the snobbish black turtlenecks that insist on spending africas national defecit on a 30in pixel canvas...
