Is Camden [London] a good place to live? I've read that it's scruffy and full of junkies, but other reports say that it's a really cool place to live. So what is it really like?

Move on up, try Chalk Farm or Primrose Hill if you're rich. There isn't much in Camden, I worked there for 3 years, it's more of a pit-stop town.

Camden is shit. too busy, full of crusties, goths and tourists.
some nice bars though. Wouldn't want to live there though.

Everyone above is right - Camden's a 'great' place to visit, but an awful place to stay. Go Primrose Hill, Chalk Farm, Islington (where I am), then get a bus down on a Saturday morning.
(fucking Goths).
