they were originally like $80 on sale for $5 because no one recognizes the amazingness of white jeans

back in the height of grunge fashion (87-88) my father bought me me some new levis for school and I took a hack saw and sandpaper to the knees.
He almost beat the crap out of me for that one! For god sakes he must have spent at least $19.99 on them!

i wish there were better jeans out there.
All the really "nice" labels never fit me right cos im short, skinny but I have some curves :D hah. They aways make jeans for tall skinny girls with no ass.
The best jeans I ever got, I got from Max Studio during the summer. They dont usually have jeans year round tho so it sucks. I should go buy more.

what a bunch of curmudgeons.
ex-skaters are the funniest closet conservatives ever. i remember making fun of the old dudes wearing tight jeans (cory o'brien), while walking around like an idiot in size 50 jeans because that's what my grafitti idols from philly dressed like.
now the old guys are still wearing baggy jeans and the young kids are crazy enough to actually walk into a store, try on, and then walk to the register with a pair of women's jeans. i totally respect that.
the younger kids are always way better at not giving a fuck, and inventing their own shit.
personally, i buy shrink-to-fit 501s that fit and then never wash them. but i'm rocking the "ex-writer becomes metro-lumberjack grad student" look.

shop secondhand. i find $200 jeans for $10 all the time. i hate spending money on labels because i think it's pointless, but hey if i can get it for 1/10th or 1/15th of the cost, why not.

never once paid more than $40 for a pair of jeans- and never will. I laugh more at the fools who wear $200 jeans than I do at emo kids in chic jeans... sometimes it's hard to determine who is the bigger idiot.
I don't wear than skin tight, but I don't wear them B-Boy style either. It's hard to find jeans now-a-days that don't look like your in the G-Unit or you shit your pants.
The emo trend might be all over, but not mearly as much as the baggy "YO!" trend that seems to never go away.
You know the hip hop look needs an update when my dad is wearing Wranglers from K-Mart that make him look like Marky Mark.
