I'm thinking of upgrading does anyone use it and is it worth the upgrade cost? The Bridge feature obviously is intriguing, but is that it?

*bump
is everyone broke or does no one use it?

I've used PS CS2 and just this app alone is worth upgrading.
You can now copy and paste files from Illustrator and they are recognized as vector. If you want to change anything for that vector layer, you can double click on that layer make changes in Illustrator and then save. The layer is updated automatically!!

someone else mentioned that to me as well Mattia but they only have Photoshop and not the complete package. Greedo give me rundown if you get it. Thanks.

Illustrator has the trace feature and it works prettyy nicely. Do you know streamline?
Well if you do, that app is now part of Illustrator.
PS: I've been using the trayout.

we just got it yesterday and overlooked one major thing Suitcsae doesnt have auto activation for it yet which sucks when you are working on severalporjects at one time. the other thing I have noticed is im on an 800 g4 w/1.5gb ram and it runs a little slow especially on initial startup.
I am still playing with some of the new features but I still us CS for the auto activation of fonts right now.

hmmm hadn't heard of the auto-trace feature nor of the Suitcase problems. Currently running G5 and 2.8 GHZ pc so hopefully it won't run slow. I have heard of some performance problems however. Thanks for you help.

I have to say that performance wise, on my dual 2.5Ghz G5 (4 Gb RAM), it runs really smoothly!!

I just order my Premium Suite upgrade today and I also have a dual G5 2.5GHz w/ 2.5 of memory. Can't wait!

copying editable vector shapes into indesign ... mmmm

suitcase is not so great... try using Adobe Type Manager (an obvious choice since you are on an adobe product to begin with)

Down with Autotrace!!!
But, yeah, the upgrade is well worth it, in my opinion.
