i hate flash's anti-aliasing of fonts

  any tips you guys can offer? my text is aligned to pixels, leading in full pixels but the grotesk still looks shitty.

  play with the font weight and / or size.

  it's unfortunate but usually you need to use a medium weight and a slightly larger size than you intended (unless you know flash well and don't have this problem, which i do all the friggin time). i love helvetica light but it aint no friend of flash.

  either that or use the classics like verdana.

  to build on what airey said, also play with fractions of a pixel placement. Sometimes .5 or .3 or .7 pixels can make differences.

  For best results, import a PNG from PS.
