Right basicaly here is my situation, i applyed for this job about 2 months ago, i got to the interview stage, went absolutely great. then i got asked to come do some freelance for 1 day, did that they loved the work and paid me 10 quid an hour for it, and then gave me a 2nd interview and told me iv as good as got the job, and asked me wot salary i wanted so i told them to make a offer and they did that so i asked for the highest they sed they would be willing to offer because i need to move to the job, and they said that would be fine and should get a offer letter out by the end of the week, it is now 2 weeks later iv rang twice 1st time got told they are realy busy with relocating and wont b able 2 get anything out to me till friday this was the friday 1 week ago, so i rang on the friday just gone asking whats going on and she said she cant tell me anything because the MD is not in till mid this week.
So im kinda wonderin what i should do , should i ring them and push them to make a decision and say i have other interviews lined up etc, or be patient and wait. just feel like im gettin messed around a lot and am not gettin a good impression from them.

i say, go for other interviews.
cause most companies situtation changes and they may not end up hiring you.
why take a chance?
if you get another offer, call them and say i just got an offer and say thank you but i am going with this one.if they cant commit, there is no point

i would call them next friday!
but i wouldn't be too pushy... it might cause a bad impresion!i'm in the same situation, went to a few interviews and they told me that they would say something by the end of the week....
3 weeks passed by... and I've mailed them and got no answer...i thought the interviews went ok... but probably they didn't think the same...
but if you have to move for the new job i think they'll understand why you really want to know, to get your life sorted!anyway best of lucks, and i hope you get the job!

It's a tough call. I think that bustin' your ass and getting them to like you was good. Do you want to ruin it by getting on their bad side and annoying them? It's tough but I say no.
Stay in touch with them and you can ask about your hire date, but always keep it positive.
Look elsewhere too.

Hey jeff, hows it goin?

£10 / hour???
I'd try and find something else, that doesn't sound nearly enough to be paying you for freelance work.
