ok ok heres the situation. Some people wat a letterhead and i have done so but they want it running down the side and not on top. They want it done in word and im having a problem placing it down the side in microsoft word. does anyone one know how to do this? Thank u so so much in advanced.

design your letterhead in what ever package you want. make a jpg then import the jpg into word and place as an image. set the image properties so that text flows over the image and set the margins so you can't type over the letterhead design.

do everything that undoundo said, but do it in a 'header' and it will appear on every page.

You can also insert a text box and set the type direction to be vertical, so it remains an editable element, rather than using an image.
