Lake perch are biting off of smallhead minnows in shaded areas. Peak feeding time is in the late afternoon. Some rock bass are to be expected at 10 ft.
My group of two caught 39 in a span of 2.5 hours. I would highly recommend a catch and release policy, as death may occur from ingestion.
