hey, i want to learn css and would love someone to look at a site i did (rush job for a friend using their design in 4 hours so please don't bag me to much) and let me know what it would cost to convert the home page only to css so i could use it as a case study?
cheers, me.

Probably be a better learning experience to do it yourself, no?

true but i've no freakin' idea. i thought if one page was done i could work out how to alter and adapt for the other pages and see what goes where.
sort of pull that one apart to work it out. make sense?

I see what your saying Airey.
On the other hand, sometimes you can feel just as lost looking at an example unless someone walks you thru it.
I would suggest you save your money and spend it on a solid reference book which will serve you well for a long time, as you move from beginner to advanced:

i think you're right. sorry versa, thanks for the offer but i'm going to get a damn book!

np, good luck

It has some basic tutorials. Its more of a reference manual rather than a step-by-step tutorial book.
It breaks down every aspect of CSS, tells you what it does, where/how to use it, browser-related bugs, etc.
