There's nothing really shocking about those AA adverts. It's an attitude thing. They sell sex somehow, but their photos are very nice, nothing you haven't seen before. At least in Europe. To say it's perverted it's perhaps a bit extreme. They try to be Terry Richardson without the porn.

i've used gildan before and found that they are cut weird and sizes are somewhat awkward...the xls are super wide with tiny necks for example
