Already used up my 30 day trial of premiere. (company wont frigen buy it) Need somthing I can editing down some movie clips with. Any suggestions?

a lot of companies don't have the money to buy something like that..
i've worked for many companies that just don't see the point in paying for the software.. especially if it's a one time project they need it for..
hell.. i'm working in After Effects 5.5 right now because my company doesn't have a budget to upgrade to 6.5
$200 is a lot when you are a small department..
it is whack tho.. i hate it

JazX, theres one problem with that 30 day trial. It wont let me import mpeg/avi files ( functions are disabled because of the trial.)
anything else available you can think of that will let me edit down some files.: also I will be needing somthing like premiere in the long term, theres alot of work they got here which will involve me editing down movie clips - adding effects.

well, you could always find a torrent for premiere. if your company won't pay for it, then why not go illegal?

well, yeah this is easy to do, but iam sure adobe has tabs on stuff like that now. They make you fill out a contact form before you download - with a legit email that cant be a hotmail account etc
