the pathfinder has a weak engine, not particularly well suited for towing

There are 7 engines to choose from, how do you know which one I had in mind? They have a bitchin' V6 diesel with an insane torque. More than the gas ones alltogether.

V6 is a bit weak for towing a boat. Are you going through any mountains?

Pathfinder engine is too small, is will die on you with a boat hanging out of the ass .. even with a bleach
The only 4x4 i would ever buy, is a Land Rover Defender .. It will look just like this one, but all black

Not bad vehicles, but I would not recomend pulling a boat long distance. Nisson has trouble with transmissions in those models regardless of heavy use. Look for a Toyota 4runner with a v6.

I would also highly recommend the new Land Rover Discovery 3
it been all uphill for that car since it came out.. there is nothing that thing cant drive though, and it is a little more comfy than the Defender..

The Discovery tips over making a fast turn at 50. No way. It doesnt even have ESP. Plus it hasn't changed since the 80s besides tail lights. I'd rather not die this summer tipping over as I paralel park.
By the sound of things, americans arent familiar with the concept of a modern diesel. A V6 Diesel is extremely powerful. For example, a 110 hp VW diesel is twice as powerful, strength-wise, as a 300 hp VW gas engine. The same goes for all brands. You could tow a house.
Unless i get a really sweet deal on a Cayenne S tomorrow, the Pathfinder it is.

Yes, the lm002 would be an option if it wasn't for the fact that there are three for sale in the world. They actually have a pretty interesting story, none of those were intended for the public. All of the Lambo LMs ever made was for the Saudi's.

i have a 1992 pathfinder with almost 180K miles on it. it runs perfectly. solid vehicle, but the shitty gas mileage bums me out.
