Computer crashes in PShop CS

  My PShop crashes a good bit and at times makes my machine unstable. I'm on XP.

  yes, CS is restarting my computer, particularly when i use the lasso tool or a lens blur.

  i installed PS 7.0 and it seems to work fine but i need the lens blur in volume CS, which 7.0 doesn't provide.

  have you figured out a cure at all?

  PS 7.0 is pure evil (on a mac that is). PS 7.0 does weird stuff colour wise when importing and exporting.
