The government offered me a job through email yesterday at 1:55pm and told me that I had 24 hours to reply.
I need this job VERY badly, and well...I only checked my email just now and it's around 7 hours past the supposed deadline.
Think they're serious about the deadline? The woman who offered me the job isn't replying to the email because she's too busy, but instead I'll be getting a call from another representative if I'm chosen.
I would like some good luck too, if you don't mind. I'm beating myself up right now for not checking my email for just ONE day. I have such bad luck.

missed a phonecall from a company who wanted to organise an interview. (they emailed me later; apparently they've been trying to get hold of me for a while)have to call 'em tomorrow, but it's not really a good first impression.
