last time I was in barcelona I ate some 'fried knob' (that's what it said on the menu) in a tapas gaff off la ramblas. Albeit washed down with lashings of Estrella, it was pretty tasty. Kind of like ranchero crisps

my only problem with barcelona is everyone, male and female, sports those trendy mohawk or trucker style mullet hairdos.
Last time we were there my boyfriend decided to get his haircut. The lovely hairdresser (she was lovely) gave him a nice cut but left him with a mullet at the back which we promptly had to cut off when we got back to our gaff.
What's with that?

they are L.A. haircuts. every major city with a young hip population has this problem. faux hawks, trendy mullets, etc. yeah, it's retarted, but somebody's gotta feel like they are a trend setter at some point. ie. vondutch, rasta colored sweatbands, etc.

that's not what i meant. i just like to refer to those fucked up haircuts as LA haircuts. although some trends go like this....
von dutch was like biker garage gear.
paris hilton wears it.
then everyone and their mother wears it.
then you can but it in chinatown.
