There was a story in Vanity Fair about this kid (call him George) had multiple MSN aliases and created a sort of online 'world' for himself and some other people. One of those 'other people' was his best friend (call him Bob, who didn't know about George's online life). Anyway, one day George told Bob that he has to find this kid named George (himself) and kill him, because he's a spy or something. Bob believes him, kills George. And soon everyone finds out that George was also the kid who told Bob to kill George. So the parents wanted to sue MSN. Wtf?
(sorry, the story is quite complicated)

"Mr Qui lost patience and stabbed him with "great force" according to media reports."

I dont know what is sadder:
a person getting stabbed over "virtual property"
or
the fact that there is "virtual property"These peoples real lives must be pretty dull to give such a shit.
- Sleepatwork0
So how about ripping a site?
- usrper0
"He was barely able to put his pants on before Qiu stabbed him"
uh huh.
- grafholic0
see, i was gonna say...there's already "virtual" properties all over the place.
but at least they're copyrighted.
- usrper0
i think not being able to put his pants back on before he got stabbed is sadder
- grafholic0
wait, so is his name Qui or Qiu?
that bbc article is mixing up names.
- Jaline0
Also, the kid who was tricked into killing the other kid was around 16, two years older than the kid who was doing the persuading.
- grafholic0
jaline, do you know if this happened in canada or us or elsewhere? (trying to google)
