Yeah, we have LJ accounts. It's not all about the goths and their flame wars. There are some really cool communities there. I like the filtering system and the different levels of community moderation - it can really help to keep spammers and trolls off of them. Plus, no annoying ads.

I do almost the exact same thing - but I do post about things I care about. And I have gained some great info from some of the communities I belong to.
