nah do what k77 said instead.

make it your own. your site should be an extension of who you are.
show your work BIG.

on second thought i agree with k77.
less is more. simple is beautiful.

don't let your interface overwhelm your work. let it stand out. even simple 1pg folios work well. make it like a skirt, long enough to cover the subject, but short enough to keep the viewer's interest.

i was debating between flash and xhtml/css, and I think i'm going with the latter.
just seems easier to update and what not. lots of you guys have flash based 'folios?
- k770
depends, if you wanna show off your flash skills... you know which way to go right?
- ludawg0
man that skirt analogy was kinda hot.

lots of animated gifs =)

if your a print designer go simple with a one page folio with the work big.
if your a web/flash designer try something unique and exciting.

thanks for the tips folks. gonna start working on it in a few days. i'll be back to let you hyenas rip it to shreds.
stay tuned.
