yea, sucks that this is still an alpha build but this program has a lot of potential.... more so than ssX

i disagree, i gave up soulseek on the mac until i got ssX

basically yes, with ssX you can do the same things as in soulseek, plus a couple of extra features, like bandwidth per user, save searches when quitting etc
solarseek was pretty primitive when i was using it, no features, crashing all the time..the new version looks better tho
