great! just as I was about to hit, my boss went vacation and he hired 4 more designers among contractors before he left. I just found out about it.
I'm going to have hard time liking these guys and girls. They just made my situation worse.
I'm becoming a jack ass day by day since I started thinking about this F* salary.

let's say there's co-worker who has more experience and gets paid more than I do, but I actually do the better job. Do you think it's cool to think that way that I should get paid more just because I do the better design? or we should count more on the experience..
the more I think about it, the more I become a jack ass.
Give me some advice.

I don't understand people being scared about asking for a raise!
If you know you are worth the amount you are asking, you should be able to walk into the boss office with confidence and demand the raise without even blinking. If the boss say no, you tell him/her to expect your resignation by the end of the day because you are worth more than they pay.
I did it and ended up with a 30% raise and my boss later told me he only gave it to me because I had the balls to demand it and he respected that.
Maybe i should note i had another job in backup and my boss knew I had it line'd up.

hey look - if you feel you have earned it - if you've been working your arse off and getting recognition for that then you are well within your rights to bring it up with the CD as a topic of discussion.
good luck

Listen my friends,
I got it. I got the raise.
I finally made up my mind and walked into his office today.
The first sec I saw his face. he gave me a small smile that's saying, "I know you gonna ask for the raise":-)
I kind of prepared what I want to mention about and politly apporched him with the work that I did for the fast months.
He agreed with what I said and he was getting to the point and asking where I'm looking at. So, insted of the number I wanted to get, I told him 30% and abviously he didn't want to do the math, so he asked me again "where are you looking at?"
I told him the number that is a little less than 30% and he gave me the number which is about 20%.
I'm happy that I made the right choice at the right time.
and last but not least, I'd like to thank averyone who shared the stories. They helped me a lot throughout the whole time I was frustrated.
Thank you all, and I wanted to let you all know that I did ask and got it.
