So back in the day there was Fontographer. I guess it's still out there somewhere. What other programs can you use to make your own typefaces?

yeah just discovered that fontographer is now under their site. Looking into it. thanks.

i usually make them out in AI and them move them in to fontlab for tweeking..
i used to use fontagrapher but i find that fontlab is better
