Bryan Adams with out a doubt. I've got a whitelabel of a techno remix of Summer of '69, Bryan still rocks to this day.

Man, you people - Rod! Pfft, he's so way out of Bryan's league.
Alright, moving on. Next question.
WHO WOULD WIN IN A FIGHT?

Editorial Reviews
Amazon.comSo Far So Good offers up 13 of his previous hits plus a new song, "Please Forgive Me," a gooey, Michael Bolton-like ballad. The album starts out with "Summer of '69," the appealing autobiographical song about the 10-year-old Adams learning to play his first guitar in Ontario, and includes "(Everything I Do) I Do for You," the synth-laced ballad that wound up in the Guinness Book of World Records after topping the British singles charts for 16 weeks. With its over-the-top, gravelly vocals, So Far So Good reminds one of Rod Stewart's 1980s work when he was coasting on past achievements. Unfortunately, Adams has never had a period like Stewart's glory years in the '70s. --Geoffrey Himes

Bryan Adams was cool because he rocked out with Tina Turner and then gams. Rod is a different kinda' cool, he got to hook up with Rachel Hunter in her prime!~

i had his Bryan Adams album when i was in high school...
i think Bryan was featuring vocal for Chicane's "Don't give up" which was not too bad.

Bryan has stayed true to form his whole life. hit for hit.
Stewart on the other hand went through a period where he appeared bloated, his hair was thinning, had goops of makeup on and looked like he had a diaper or something under his polyester pants. It just seemed to me like the guy would smell lke baby powder and piss if you met him in person.

its got to be bryan adams. listening to his music makes me totally randy.
rod on the other hand doesn't live upto his name.

that song rod sings "you took away all my sadness, and filled my heart with gladness, you ease my troubles that's what you do" - KILLS ME every time i hear it!
what miserable sap wrote those cheese-infested lines that rod convulses to in his unplugged sessions?

Jenny, your just saying this because your under the influence of Brooklyn right now.
Sure, 80's synthpop is making a comeback but when you cut through the glitter, hair and excess theres no substance there.
Bryan Adams wrote some timeless classics. Rod Stewart put out some temporary style, that can re-emerge from to time as a novelity. When you seriously consider these two artists, Adams is the winner.

I'm not saying all his songs are good. But I think his catalog is better.
I think a better contender for Bryan Adams is Richard Marx.
Rod's more like Elton John, sure a lot of cheese, but also some of the best songs of all time.

richard marx can't be compared to a legend like bryan adams. but that song hazard is kick ass.
gosh, did i just call him a legend?

Billy left his home with a dollar in his pocket and a head full of dreams.
He said somehow, some way, it's gotta get better than this.
Patti packed her bags, left a note for her momma, she was just seventeen,
there were tears in her eyes when she kissed her little sister goodbye. They held each other tight as they drove on through the night they were so exited.
We got just one shot of life, let's take it while we're still not afraid.
Because life is so brief and time is a thief when you're undecided.
And like a fistful of sand, it can slip right through your hands.Young hearts be free tonight. Time is on your side,
Don't let them put you down, don't let 'em push you around,
don't let 'em ever change your point of view.

ok, Jenny, Rod has a few classics I'll agree. Maybe it's just the way he progressed, you know seeing him inn these various stages and watching his songwriting take a dive that just killed anything he once had. I hate to say it but if he was one of the musicians that dies young in a plane crash or something, he would have been better off (musically that is, I knw this s a horrible thing to say).

Give a listen to Rod when he was with the Jeff Beck Group. Rod was gettin' it done in the summer of 69.

None of them, there both shite!
