Ok, don't know much about this but I have done a flash presentation for a client and they have requested it to go in a video they are creating. The flash presentation is at 1024x768 and they want it at 720x579.
Apart from scaling the movie is possible to do this? Is there anything I should know?
Thanks

is your presentation key framed? or run though as? Macromedia.com has some tips for this (square to non-square pixels etc)
You can output quicktime from flash in the file>export movie section

They are going to want it in 720 X 576 (not 579)
you need to find out if it is going to be broadcast in widescreen or 4:3.
If widescreen, tweak your flash layout to work within 1024 X 576 safe areas.
If 4:3, tweak your flash layout to work within 768 X 576 safe areas.
Once your layout has been adjusted to work within the safe areas, render it out to be horizontally squished to 720 x 576. Any circles should look like eggs (not rugby balls).

dancer, want me to mail you safe area templates?

Export the rescaled movie to mpeg @ 25 frames per second. Have a look at http://www.adshareit.com/howto.h…
