I needs a new portfolio. I don't want the usual nasty black shit. I feel like an effing door to door salesman with those joints.
I want something nice and clean.
I'm kind of digging this one.

i like Gorbie's suggested site lost-luggage.
especially the one with wood surface. i am kinda tired of aluminum steel look. i think that natural material look is in!

I really like the aluminum ones, with the screw posts like you posted from veer. I have wanted to get one for a while but they are pretty expensive when I already have one of those standard shitty black pleather ones.

When you bring your book to interview, do you bring the original print work, ie magazines, book covers, flyers or do you scan them and lay them out nicely in InDesign and output them to nice stock?
I'm just wondering because I'm starting to do a lot of print stuff and not sure if I need to bring the print job with me during an interview.

I think some key things you could bring samples of, especially if part of the printing was really outstanding like embossing of foil stamping that comes off better in real form.
My good friend whom I work with has all of his print work shot like:
With high quality printouts of the photos and then just put into his book.
