It's running right now on PT TV.
Some serbian soldiers shooting crotian captives back in 1999.
I'm sure this degrading, exquisitely evil and unfortunately not so new side of humans happens every time there is a war, but why do they film it? why do they take pictures? do they jerk on this later in the barracks?
My question is: what sort of demential people are these men? do they feed them drugs? I really can't understand it. It's not some papparazi with a zoom; it's someone recording an criminal action.
Can anyone understand this?

they filmed during ww1, ww2, korea, vietnam, golf war 1, golf war 2. i prolly forget about a 100 other documented wars. why? journalism? sensation? ratings? dunno, as long as there are humans there's obviously a demand.

Russia is great at covering up such stuff, any journalist that comes near Chechnya is arrested but it often looks more like an abduction so that Moscow can later blame "terrorists"

I read an article about the tortures at srebenica the other day, it turned my stomach and left me depressed for days, the UN stood by and watched the same as in rwanda aswell, wtf is that all about? being a UN soldier in those circumstances must be the most fucked up job on the planet...

I know a guy who was in kosovo as an army ranger- he says he still has nightmares about seeing rape camps. the UN is pretty worthless for most things.

that's why i think that maybe some images/footage are fake. these sort of horror happens no doubt (no doubt is underlined) but i think they are forged post-facto to frame those bastards.
i'm not sure that anyone is so stupid as to picture and record their own killings and brutality.

I know a spanish soldier in kosova at the moment, he was in an english barracks and they sent a detachment of brit soldiers to protect a monastery, a militia turns up and the brits are ordered back to base so as not to engage the enemy - the militia promptly go in and rape all the nuns. didn't want any dead english soldiers on the news I suppose, but then what's the point of being there then?

people will be killing and torturing whether they're filmed or not, no surprise there. Not that I encourage it but I think these things should be documented so that people can see how horrific it really is to have war.

no you just do it. pictures come later because someone knows what you did and they just create evidence for it. i think that's how it goes.

i dunno irnlun6, logic says yeah that's right but humans and logic sometimes don't match. you know with so many documented wars and conflicts they still are and still will happen no matter how much we learned from it.

If you're doing that kind of stuff then you're not feeling bad about doing it, if you were then you wouldn't be doing it in the first place...
If someone can nail an old man to a tree and force him to eat his grandsons guts (srebenica) then taking a few snaps wouldn't be a major thing...
