nairn is responsible to speak for me because he has been reading everything i've written for the past couple of years and we've had scraps about my views and various socio-political ills and he KNOWS, as does most anyone who knows me OR my online persona at all, that i simply wouldn't countenance such a viewpoint. in fact, it's such a ridiculous viewpoint that the reader was meant to understand that it was untenable as an opinion from the mouth of ANY woman.

en fin, i apologise if you were offended _salisae_, but to be honest, i never would have expected you to take that seriously, as i've been reading your posts for the past couple of years and you've always exhibited a fairly sophisticated sense of the absurd and black humour as an institution.

I used to be able to swallow while in high school and before that but after I got into university, umm...well, my gag reflex became more sensitive or something. I can still do it, just not as easily. This one time I had to wait for OSAP (student loan) in line for 4 hours and my friends just told me to swallow it or walk over to the garbage can and spit it out, but I didn't want to walk at all so I kept it in my mouth for 4 hours and then finally I spit it out and it was the best feeling ever.

Lisa: Oh c'mon, Christmas, er... the holidays only come once a year. Management asked for something fun, let's give'em the real deal.

Look, I realize the only cards I give my family are blue with pictures of dredels on them, but even I know when a full on holiday card is over the top. Every designer's instinct in my body says to stop at the beveling and liberal dispersal of snowflakes.Lisa: Listen, as the chosen designers of this years card, we have to show the true depth we possess as creatives. Anyone worth their salt knows that drop shadowing is an indication of depth. It'll make that greeting just leap off the card and the viewer will be snookered into thinking they are actually within the card itself, ready to drop little gifts into our stockings hung with care.
Corrine: (Throws head back) Fine! I will add the shadow.
Lisa: Yay! Yeah...there we go. No wait, don't use the default 120 degree angle, move it around so it looks like the light is coming from....YES that's it! It's perfect. Absolutely perfect.
