ok...I know I posted one page folios thread awhile ago...
but quickly...i had mentioned to my client to do a long one pg....so they wanted examples...
they are a company that produces menuboards...and since I really dont want to design many many pgs...I just want to do it like a one pg folio and they agreed...
the problem is I dont want to point them to designer folios.... I was looking at folios where people dont charge $500 for a site... I need the high quality designer/studios out there that charge high prices for what they do....
I don't want to give them a folio of someone who is undercutting everyone and bringing down our worth....I am having enough problems getting the money they owe me out of them...and them asking me why can't I add more stuff for a second site that they never contracted....and why I charge what I charge...
so if you have businesses that have long one pg folios or design studios that are charging a minimum of 10k per site.... it would be appreciated...

why not give them personal portolfio of people rather than a company

now that you mention it, i can't really recall anyone but designers using that approach for their site.
you could always show the sites of shitty designers and say, "like this, but not shitty."

it's definitely a design trend. you said you wanna do one pager because you don't wanna design many pages? why not template and use css?

i think he wants to show client examples .. but he havent done stuff like that.
most of the one pagers have designers but he is afraid that they might under cut him, cause the client might contact the designer example..
i got some one pagers... but dont steal my design? cause its just a concept ! heh

oy vey... its not about that...I just dont want to do all the work...
they are adding to a site that they dont even have the original content for and now a subsidiary of the company is trying to get in on the action...and now they want another site.... "cant you just add a few more pages" "cant you just design is similar to our site"
this isnt to get creative....they are 7 months overdue on giving me the content and my lawyer is already getting involved...we are signing a new contract to complete the old stuff....
its a sticky situation....so I dont want to be creative and do templating...
