what the hell...
alright, I always apple-click a layer to select the layer boundaries and give you the dotted selection around it. .. in cs2, now with the new multiple layers you can select at once, apple-click now selects/deselects more layers..
anyone know how you select the layer's boundaries now...?

I thought NT peeps knew it all...
alright, I'll try elsewhere... perhaps under an assumed name of "HotBlondeGirl214" or something...

works for me. i ctrl click the layer thumbnail and it loads selection based on opacity( the little dotted line thing) . i think thats what you are looking for.

I still use Photoshop 7.0, and I ain't changing anytime soon. Adobe's CEO is a fucking marketing man, he could care less about the software. Adobe products will be going to shit, stay with their older versions.

yea click the thumbnail.

yeah, it's pretty weird to get used to. you have to click the thumb and only the thumb. linking layers is also strange. you have to shift click in the space right of the thumbnail now. and to make the link more permanent you control click the layer and choose link layers. very strange...
