anyone in LA going to see 'em at the El Rey? I'm going saturday.

No, but if you like them listen to a new band called Maximo Park, think they might be touring soon. Also Futerheads are well good.

saw them on letterman last night, they've played twice in van here over the past few months, missed both show but have heard nothing but rave reviews from friends.
and maximo park is awesome, worth checking out...

I saw them earlier this year at the troubadour before everyone jumped on the band wagon.

probably on of the best bands out there right now next to the bravery!!!!

I missed them at the Sasquatch Music Fest. They were the first of like 10 bands on the main stage. I'm sure I miised a good show buy fuck - It was 95 degrees and beers were 8 bucks. I stayed out under a tarp drinking Code Red and Vodka!

I also saw the Troubadour show. Don't believe the hype, it was a snoozer.
Blah Party aren't doing anything that hasn't been done a hundred x before. Props to the studio engineer for letting the drums rock out front, where they belong.
Another Canadian band on the Vice label worth a damn: Death From Above 1979. Check it fool.
