I went though something similar recently. Make sure you have extensive requirements documentation from the beginning and make them sign change order forms that explain the additional cost and time involved in doing anything beyond the scope of the requirements.

If you have an unlimited budget it doesn't matter but if they are trying to hold you to an estimate while making tons of changes it can be a problem without the proper documentation.
