making a 3 column layout.
left and right columns have a bg image with repeat-y.
center column is content.
how do I get the image bg in left and right colmns to match the lenght of the center column?
example: http://www.alistapart.com/articl…
(though that is a 2 column layout, but the concept is the same.)

make the bg one container and the content inside another container within it, no columns needed

style for content would be white background, width, etc
