Ok, so I'm just starting with freelance, and I would like some help on how to invoice my clients. Specifically "Terms of payment". anyone would be kind enough to show me examples on how to do this? or point me in the direction I can learn more about it? I googled it but I'm more concerned on terms and conditions that apply speciffically to freelance graphic designers.
any help will be much appreciated!
thanks

The terms of payment for all the work that we do is 30% down, net-30. Meaning that the client needs to pay 30% of our projected estimate at the time the contract is signed. Then, following completion of the work, we subtract that from the actual cost and the remainder is due 30 days from delivery.

Get the AIGA Handbook for ethics & Guidellines, there are several example invoices in there that you can use.
