I like some of the work. But what's with the site?
It's kind of thrown all over the place. I think you should incorporate some of your creative style into your site. Make me what to come back. no'what mean?
Also work on your nav.

any suggestions?

imo, your site has no personality. I'm not sure I would remember it a couple of hours from now.
Your personal work/fine art is fun! You could feed off that and make the site in a similar vain.
Give it some life. Have it stand out from all the other white page sites out there.

I think your work is nice, and the site could stay this simple and still be very effective.
1. The splash page in nice looking, but totally unnecessary. I'd take it out and use your graphics elsewhere.
2. The main page is nice (like the rollovers) but you should have the content load on the right side of the screen adn keep your nav instead of refreshing to a new page. It's a little jarring and harder to use the way it is. Plus you loose your nav.
3. Whether you have the secondary pages load into a new page or not, you need to style them! Right now it's just unfformatted HTML. You don't need to create graphics for all of them but add a little color or style to the sub pages.
A good start

I like it as is, ghetto style.
Fit's your work, in a complimentary way. ALSO, the work speaks for itself, no need to overdue it with the web graphics.
