Looking for something similiar to ApexSans, with many weights, where the heavier ones are also suitable for news headlines.
ApexSans looks like this: http://thirstype.com/fonts.php?f…
Thanks.

(May 31 05, 06:16)because i think the counters are to small on the bold weights and also it looks to blurry when in low res.

You're absolutely right about Apex's heavy weights. I think the face has a beautiful structure, but more care should be taken in the extrapolation for the dark stuff.
FF Meta is better seen at FontShop:
http://www.fontshop.com/index.cf…But I don't think it's a great substitute for Apex, which is very new. Some suggestions in a moment.

FF Unit is Erik Spiekermann's follow-up to Meta and shares Apex's stricter forms:
http://www.fontshop.com/index.cf…Pay special attention to what happens in its Black weight, as compared to Apex Extra Bold.

typographica, let's typeface it. you're addicted to this TYPFC stuff. better lay off man. i don't know if a Meta program is advisable for you but you should talk to Ray Larabie. He's on it without getting really high.
j/k. great job you're doin'.
