Hey all
I've got this Greyscale TIFF and no matter what I do I can't have a strong black & wite contrast. I've used curves, clicked on the grey aeras with the black colour picker, it turned really dark -as I wanted it- I clicked ok and it went back to grey! Everything I do to it -and I tried a few different ways- it goes back to grey! This is driving me crazy!!! does anyone know what the solution could be?
Thanks

turn off your computer and start it up again. I find that solves unexplainable weirdness generaly...

I tried that before I even posted in here. This is just bonkers so I gave up in order to keep sane. I deleted that file altogether, and i 'm going to change this design completely.
I'm going for a walk to calm down first, though

Did you try making sure that the image's "mode" is in RGB?

Yeah you've probably not got it in RGB or CMYK mode.

(May 31 05, 05:00)Ha! you must have worked in a helpdesk before. No, don't stay on the line while you do it. Just call back when it still doesn't work.
Try saving it as a psd and making changes to that.

a lot of times if you have your left shoe off things work better.
